BASF, an agrochemical multinational, launched Voraxor, a new herbicide in the Uruguayan market that contains the active ingredient trifludimoxazin + saflufenacil. The event took place during the Department of Soriano's Expoactiva Nacional fair.

Voraxor, according to Priz, provides "many benefits to producers, such as selectivity in less than four crops, which are wheat, barley, soybeans, and corn, as well as very good control persistence, very good burning, and rapid weed control." One of the most important features is that it can be applied until the first day of planting, which distinguishes it from other herbicides on the market."

Several years of field testing and demonstrations in commercial areas were required to adapt the technology to local conditions, evaluate each benefit, and define recommendations, dosage, application time, and possible mixtures.
