SGS has awarded Organic Certification to Whole Wheat Atta introduced by Amul, a cooperative brand managed by the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), as organic. This certificate confirms the milk cooperative's adherence to organic production standards.
In addition to the GCMMF certification, SGS has certified Kaira District Milk Producers Union, which is Amul's processing plant. This certificate demonstrates compliance with organic production requirements and validates the organic claim for GCMMF's agricultural products marketed under the brand name Amul. In addition to the certification granted to GCMMF, SGS has also certified Kaira District Milk Producers Union Limited, Amul's processing plant.
Organic certification is a process certification that entails a set of production standards for organic product growing, storage, processing, packaging, and shipping.
