1. Protect Your Hair
Protect your hair from sun, wind, and rain. Exposure to excessive sun, heat, dirt, pollution can lead to dirt build up, drying out of hair and scalp, increased susceptibility to infections on the scalp.
Cover your hair with an umbrella, hat or scarf.
2. Trim Your Hair
Trimming hair every few weeks helps in getting rid of rough split ends. Cut about 1/4th an inch of your hair every 6 to 8 weeks to avoid the split ends to grow again.
3. Deal Carefully With Wet Hair
Wet hair is very fragile and breaks easily. Avoid brushing immediately after a shower. Don’t be too harsh when shampooing.
4. Choose a Correct Shampoo
Buy a shampoo that is sulfate free to avoid any kind of irritation on the scalp or drying up of hair.

Rinse the conditioner off with cold water as it is good for both strength and shine.

Home Remedies For Healthy Hair
1. Bananas
They are rich in potassium and help in improving the elasticity and natural health of your hair.
Mash a banana in a bowl and apply this on your hair, starting from the root to the tip of your hair. Leave it on for about 15 minutes and then wash it off with a good shampoo. This treatment helps in treating damaged and dry hair.
2. Coconut Oil and Honey Conditioning Treatment
Pour the ingredients into one bowl and mix them until they’re all well combined. Then start applying this conditioning treatment to freshly shampooed hair and leave it on for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with water.
3. Eggs
Eggs makes your hair soft and silky. You can either massage your head with the yellow part of an egg directly or make a mixture of 1 tablespoon olive oil, 3 egg yolks and 2-3 drops of vitamin E oil. Leave it for 10-12 minutes and then wash your hair thoroughly with shampoo.
4. Mayonnaise
Mayonnaise works as a wonderful deep conditioner for hair. Wet your hair and apply mayonnaise. Leave it on your hair for not more than an hour. Rinse well and shampoo afterward.
5. Aloe Vera
Use 1 Lemon, 4 tbsp Aloe Vera Gel, 5 drops Peppermint Essential Oil. Then Mix the ingredients in a bowl and set it aside.
Wash your hair with shampoo and then start working the conditioner through your wet hair. Wait for 5 minutes and then rinse it out with cool/lukewarm water.
6. Honey
Honey is an excellent home remedy to repair damaged hair and prevents hair fall. Simply add 2-3 drops of honey to your shampoo or conditioner. Then, use this to wash your hair.
7. Fenugreek Seeds
Take 2 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds and soak it overnight. Next morning, grind this to make a smooth paste and apply all over your scalp.
Let it stand for half an hour and wash properly afterward. It will help to get rid of hair loss and dandruff.
8. Beer Treatment
Washing your hair with beer makes your hair shiny and beautiful.
9. Amla
It makes your hair strong and healthy. Make a fine mixture of lemon juice and amla powder. Massage this gently from your hair roots to the tip and leave it on for 20 minutes. Then shampoo.
10. Apple Cider Vinegar
Use 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar with 1 tbsp honey and 2 cups water. Combine all the ingredients in a jug and set it aside. Wash your hair with shampoo. Pour the ACV solution through your washed hair.
