Koreans are known for their flawless and smooth skin, and every skincare lover should be aware of the importance of the Korean beauty industry. The Koreans are the inventors of Glass skin. Glass skin is a skincare trend in which the skin is so bright and clear that it almost seems radiant and reflects as if it were made of glass.

This is an exaggeration, but it simply refers to a skincare routine that promotes clear, blemish-free, and bright skin. For decades, Korean beauty has relied on home remedies. You may see a difference in the quality of your skin in just a few months by including these home treatments into your routine.

Rice Flour and Aloe Vera Face Mask

Rice flour is an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant that stops skin ageing, reduces UV damage, and brightens the complexion. It may also be used as a natural exfoliator. We all know that aloe vera benefits include moisturising the skin, eliminating acne, and lightening blemishes, among other things.

How to Use:

To make a thin drink, mix three tablespoons finely powdered rice flour, two teaspoons aloe vera pulp, and cold water in equal parts. Apply this mixture to your face and neck and wait an hour for it to dry fully before washing it off with cold water. This home remedy can immediately soothe and revitalise your skin. Use this mask at least once a week for best effects.

Fermented Rice Water Face Mist

Rice is more than just a staple in Asian cuisine. Fermented rice is an integral ingredient of many beauty regimens in China and Korea. Rice water is known for decreasing UV skin damage and promoting collagen formation, which keeps the skin smooth and wrinkle-free.

How to Use:

Bring the rice to a boil, drain it, and save the water. Allow it to cool completely before transferring it to a spray bottle. You may also avoid boiling the rice by soaking it in water overnight and collecting the water the next morning. Allow for fermentation for 2-3 days before applying the fermented rice water as a face spray in the morning after your shower and right before night.

Green Tea Facial Rinse

Green tea is well-known for its cancer-fighting qualities. It also moisturises the skin, reduces wrinkles, and treats acne. Green tea contains polyphenols and six different types of catechins, all of which are incredibly powerful and helpful in the treatment of a range of skin conditions.

How to Use:

Fill a cup halfway with water and half a teaspoon of green tea to make a green tea facial. After you've washed your face, bring it to a boil and let it cool completely before using it as a last face rinse. By detoxifying your skin with each rinse, it will help you get rid of pimples and breakouts in no time. For best effects, use it at least twice a day.

Lemon and Strawberry Face Mask

Lemon is an antioxidant that naturally contains vitamin C and is known to help prevent skin damage and premature ageing. Strawberry, on the other hand, is a potent astringent, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant that helps to cure acne, protect your skin from UV rays, and remove dead skin cells.

How to Use:

Combine two drops of lemon juice, five to six mashed strawberries, and two tablespoons of fresh yoghurt in a mixing bowl. Apply the mask generously to your face and neck and let it on for 30 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water. Your skin will feel repaired and rejuvenated right away. Repeat the technique twice a week for best results.

So, if you want to get glass skin at home, use the simple remedies listed above. In addition, sun protection is required. Use sunscreen, hats, and scarves to protect your face and body from UV rays as long as it is daytime. Make hydration a top priority in your skincare routine. Drink lots of water every day and eat plenty of water-rich vegetables and fruits.
