Aam Panna
This is a popular drink of Maharashtra and is made with our favorite fruit mango. This refreshing summer drink is prepared with the use of mango pulp and is blended with cumin, jeera,in and mint leaves.
Aam Panna Recipe
Ingredients

500 gm green mangoes

1/2 cup sugar

2 tsp salt
-
2 tsp kala namak (black rock salt)

2 tsp roasted and powdered cumin seeds
-
2 Tbsp finely chopped minPannat leaves

2 cups water
How to Make Aam Panna
-
Boil the mangoes till it becomes soft from inside and the skin gets discolored.

When it cools down, remove the skin and squeeze the pulp out of the mangoes.

Mix all the ingredients together and add 2 cups of water and then blend it .

Put some ice in the glasses and pour the Aam panna over it.
Jaljeera
It is made using jeera and water. Jeera is first roasted and made into coarse powder and then mixed in water. Drink a chilled glass of jaljeera and endure summers like never before.

Buttermilk (Chaas)
Buttermilk is popularly known as chaas in North India. It is an amazing curd-based drink that is undoubtedly favourite of many Indians. Buttermilk is a brilliant digestive, and the addition of spices like jeera further enhances its benefits.

2 cups of plain curd

2 green chilies, that too chopped

A small bunch of coriander leaves and should be chopped

4 curry leaves

1 tsp rock salt or black salt

Salt to taste
How to Make Buttermilk (Chaas)

Add all the ingredients to the curd Without adding water.

Now blend the mixture well on low speed.

In a pot, add the mixture and pour in 2 cups of chilled water. Mix it well and see there are no lumps.

Refrigerate it, till it's ready to be served and you should give the chaas at least 20 minutes to set.

Nimbu Paani Or Lemonade
We can't miss out the most sought summer drink, which is our very own nimbu paani or lemonade. It is prepared using mint leaves, lemons, sugar, salt and water. You can also add some spices like cumin, coriander powder, on tastier,black pepper to make it more tasty.
