People have started to pay more attention to their bodies, both internally and externally after the Covid-19 outbreak. Now they are adopting a healthier lifestyle, from eating immune-boosting foods to working out and practicing yoga. People, on the other hand also want to look good, which is why skincare and haircare have started gaining popularity. In terms of skincare, people continue to use chemical-based products on their faces.
Instead of spending a fortune on a skincare treatment or the plethora of beauty products on the market, there are several homemade treatments available.
Because cleansing is an important part of your skincare routine, we've compiled a list of five homemade cleansers:
MILK
Milk is an excellent cleanser due to the presence of lactic acid, which can remove dead skin cells and unclog pores. First, soak a cotton ball in milk, squeeze out any excess milk, and apply it evenly to your face (in a circulatory motion). Rinse it with lukewarm water after a while. You can do this every day for clean, nourished skin.
TOMATOES
Tomatoes are high in vitamins and nutrients that are beneficial to the skin. If you want smooth, soft, and matte-looking skin, rub a half-cut tomato on your face, let it sit for 5-10 minutes, and then wash it off.
HONEY
A number of skin-brightening treatments and face washes remove natural oils; however, honey does not. It is high in antioxidants, so it not only soothes your skin but also prevents acne. You don't need to mix honey with anything; simply massage half a teaspoon of raw honey over damp skin. Remove it with lukewarm water. Pat dry rather than rubbing the towel while whipping your face.
POTATOES
Potatoes can provide your skin with the necessary iron and vitamin C. It can assist you in the treatment of blemishes, dark spots, sunburn, fine lines, and dull skin. Squeeze the juice from one medium-sized potato into a bowl and apply it to your face in a circular motion. Allow it to dry for 10-15 minutes before washing up.
APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
Apple cider vinegar not only aids in weight loss and metabolism but also improves skin.
It brightens your complexion and clears acne. However, before applying it to your skin, perform a patch test to ensure that it is compatible with your skin. Take ACV and mix it with water in a 1:2 ratio. Apply a few drops to your face and gently massage them in. Wash your face with cold water after a few minutes.
