At a mega fair to be held in Guntur, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will launch the initiative and distribute farm machinery to the beneficiaries (farmers' groups).
Under the plan, the Chief Minister would credit Rs 175.61 crore to the accounts of 5,262 farmers as a subsidy. A total of 3,800 tractors and 320 combine harvesters will be delivered to RBK and Cluster level custom hiring centers.
The goal of YSR Yantra Seva is to assist farmers in reducing farm inputs in light of rising farm labor costs while also encouraging them to adopt contemporary farming methods that need less investment and yield more.
Farmers will save money and time by using farm mechanization from planting seeds to harvesting harvests. Farmers who cannot afford to purchase expensive farm equipment on their own can rent it from custom hire centers and RBKs throughout the state.
At a cost of Rs 2,106 crore, 10,750, YSR Yantra Seva centers (custom hiring centers) are being constructed at the RBK level, with each center having Rs 15 lakh worth of farm machinery.
In 20 districts with the most paddy cultivation, 1,615 cluster-level YSR Yantra Seva centers would be established, each with a combined harvester worth Rs 25 lakh.
The YSRC government, which believes that the state will thrive if the farmers prosper, has created a slew of programs, including the YSR Rythu Bharosa, which provides each farmer with Rs 13,500 in three installments per year.
Additional farm equipment is being offered to them with a 40% subsidy and a 50% loan through District Co-operative Central Banks (DCCBs).
Rs 806 crore was set out for the YSR Yantra Seva subsidy. Aside from tractors, the mega mela will also supply complimentary supplementary equipment such as bumpers, three-point linkages, and H bars.
A vehicle, one-year free servicing, and free training for operators will be provided for combined harvest. Drone services will also be made available through RBKs in 2,000 communities this year for pesticide spraying.
