Considering the importance of sustainable soil management an Online three weeks Certificate Course on Soil Management for Climate Smart Agriculture is organized by CAAST-CSAWM, MPKV, Rahuri from 14 June- 4 July 2021 in virtual mode (via Zoom).
India has a vibrant diversity of natural ecosystem resources, including soils, vegetation, water and genetic diversity. Together, these constitute the region's leading natural capital. From these assets, the provision of food, water, wood, fibre and industrial products, and essential ecosystem services and functions are derived. In this context, for sustainable conservation of soil, climate smart soil management practices are required. It provides technical knowledge of climate smart soil management concepts and examines how wide- scale implementation of climate smart soil management practices could enhance climate change adaptation and mitigation.
Objective of Course:
