Over the last several years, the Government of India has implemented several schemes aimed at providing women with their due social dignity and earning opportunities. Given the history of gender disparity in Indian culture, the government has taken steps to achieve equality at all levels, empower women, and improve childhood education.

Mahila E-haat
This initiative is a direct online marketing platform developed by the Ministry of Women and Child Development to assist female entrepreneurs. This is also part of the initiative called "Digital India." You can enroll at www.mahilaehaat-rmk.gov.in.
Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao
This social campaign aims to eliminate female foeticide. It also promoted awareness about the welfare services available to young Indian females. The 'Save the Girl Child' movement was established on January 22, 2015, as a collaborative initiative of the Ministries of Women and Child Development, Health and Family Welfare, and Human Resource Development. It began with an initial investment of Rs 100 crore. It primarily focuses on clusters in Uttarakhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi, and Haryana.
Nari Shakti Puruskars
The Nari Shakti Puruskars are national awards that recognize the work of women and organizations that make a difference in the lives of women, particularly vulnerable and marginalized women. Every year on March 8 - International Women's Day - the President of India gives the awards at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
Swadhar Greh
The Swadhar scheme was launched in 2002 by the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development to help women in challenging situations. This program is intended to support underprivileged women and girls in need with housing, food, clothes, and care. Widows left by their families and relatives, women prisoners released from prison and without family assistance, women survivors of natural disasters, women victims of violence and terrorism, and so on are among those who benefit from this scheme.
Women Hostel Scheme
The primary goal of this scheme is to increase the availability of safe and conveniently located accommodation for working women. It also includes daycare facilities for their children anywhere possible, from metropolitan to semi-urban to rural locations where women can work.
