  • Wonder why Home Minister chose private hospital, not AIIMS: Shashi Tharoor

    Congress MP Shashi Tharoor questioned on Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who tested positive on Covid-19 Sunday, has been admitted to a private hospital and why not the home minister chose not to go to AIIMS in Delhi.

    "True. Wonder why our Home Minister, when ill, chose not to go to AIIMS but to a private hospital in a neighbouring state", Tharoor said on Twitter.

  • Pakistan Popular news channel Dawn hacked, screen shows Indian Tricolour

    Interestingly, the leading Pakistani news channel Dawn TV claimed that Anonymous hackers attacked the broadcast on Sunday afternoon.

    Moreover, the Pakistani news channel said it had launched an investigation into the sudden broadcast of an Indian flag and Happy Independence Day text on its screen during a commercial on Sunday. While an advertisement was running on the channel, an Indian flag appeared on the screen with the message “Happy Independence Day” written on it. The flag and the message stayed on the screen for a while before disappearing.

  • HRD Minister launches alternative academic calendar for Classes 6 to 8

    The HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank recently released an alternative academic calendar for classes 6 to 8. The alternative academic schedule is for the next two months, says reports.

    HRD Minister, in his tweet, mentioned, “Alternative Academic Calendar for upper primary stage (Classes VI to VIII) for four weeks was released earlier. I have launched the academic calendar for the next eight weeks today.”

  • Sushant death case Update: No question of not cooperating with Bihar police, says Mumbai cop

    Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh on Monday said there is no question of non-cooperation with the Bihar police team which is in the city in connection with the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput.

    Singh said the investigation by the Mumbai police is in the right direction and added that the case was being investigated from all possible angles, including professional rivalry, money to health issues.
