Pashu Kisan Credit Card Scheme: Know How Farmers can take Loan up to Rs. 1.60 lakh without any Guarantee

Pashu Kisan Credit Card scheme was launched to encourage & support farmers who own cows, buffalos etc. Haryana Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Fisheries, Law & Legislative Minister, Jai Parkash Dalal had introduced the scheme for livestock farmers of the state.

Pashu Kisan Credit Card scheme was launched to encourage & support farmers who own cows, buffaloes, etc. Haryana Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Fisheries, Law & Legislative Minister, Jai Parkash Dalal had introduced the scheme for livestock farmers of the state.

Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs.40,783 is given for a cow and Rs.60,249 for one buffalo. The scheme aims to benefit Haryana cattle rearers.

According to the state Government, Pashu Kisan Credit Card will be issued to around 6 lakh cattle rearers of Haryana. In addition, through this card, farmers can take loan worth Rs 1 lakh 60 thousand without any guarantee. The information was given by Minister Dalal. Under this scheme, 1,40,000 cattle rearers have so far filled the application form.

Documents required for Pashu Kisan Credit Card:

An applicant will need the following documents while applying for Pashu Credit Card;

  • Applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana

  • Have Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID

  • Mobile number

  • Passport size photo

How to apply for Pashu Kisan Credit Card:

  • Those interested to get Pashu Credit Card Scheme will have to go to their nearest bank and apply.

  • Visit the bank with all your necessary documents ask for the application form.

  • Fill in the application form carefully and attach the photocopy of your documents Aadhaar card or Voter ID with it and submit it to the bank official.

  • Once your application is verified, you will be issued the card within 1 month.

Doubling Farmer's Income:

Haryana government is taking all necessary steps that will help in achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi's goal of doubling farmer's income by the year 2022. Since the last two years, MSP or Minimum Support Price was announced before the sowing of crops. In addition, Soil Health Cards will be issued every three years for 70 lakh acres of area in the entire state, so that farmers can sow crops accordingly.
