Amid the corona crisis, government has been working rigorously for the upliftment and wellfare of farmers section. Animal husbandry is a sector which is growing rapidly in India and the center has been initiating different schemes for its upliftment.
Recently, the Bankers Committee of Haryana has assured the government that under the Pashu kisan credit card scheme, 1 lakh applicants will be given the card before August 15.
The Haryana Government has introduced Pashu Kisan Credit Card recently. State Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister JP Dalal has called upon banks to make cards available to more and more farmers under the scheme which is launched under Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Aims to Cover 8 Lakh Cattle Farmers:
Dalal said that under the scheme, there is a target of providing 8 lakh cattle farmers credit cards in the state and this cannot be achieved without the cooperation of bankers. Camps should also be organized by banks to know about this scheme. Veterinarians provide information about the scheme by placing special hoardings in veterinary hospitals.
Scheme will help increase income:
Keeping in mind Modi's farmer's doubling income by 2022, Pashu Kisan Credit Card scheme has been started to uplift animal husbandry sector across the states.
Till now, the farms of 140,000 cattlemen have been covered under the scheme. Livestock farmers can get credit cards as per their wish. A loan of Rs 40,783 will be given for a cow while Rs 60,249 for a buffalo. Its terms are also similar to the Kisan Credit Card.
Important Documents for KCC:
Livestock farmers need to make KYC by the bank to get pashu kisan credit card.
For KYC, farmers will have to provide Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter card and passport size photo. - You have to go to your bank and apply for that.
After verification of the application form, your credit card will be generated within 1 month.
More than half the money will be received
Without guarantee , a loan will be given at an interest rate of 7 percent where 3 percent will be subsidised by the central government. The Haryana government is giving a discount on the remaining 4 percent. Out of the loan of three lakh rupees, more than half the money will be
