Taki called it a "historic event," saying that "the success of the experimental launch has paved the way for further use of the technology in agriculture, horticulture, and other sectors."
The minister urged the AH, veterinary, and DD departments to "work hard in the delivery of services in all the remote areas," and warned them not to "complain about inaccessibility with the introduction of advanced drone technology in the field."
According to Basu, "the time between diagnosis and treatment should be the shortest, whether for a human or an animal, and the experimental delivery of vaccines for FMD and others should alleviate farmers' concerns."
He said that the union government is working on more technologies to help farmers. Tayeng stated that the experiment will be used to "plan out the future use of such technologies in rural areas." According to Abhishek, the technology will help ensure livestock health even in remote areas.
Upamanyu Basu, Joint Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairy, emphasised that the time between diagnosis and treatment should be as short as possible, whether for a human or an animal, and that the experimental delivery of vaccines for FMD and other diseases should alleviate farmers' concerns. He said that the GOI is working on many more technologies to help farmers with their work.
Anshu Abhishek, COO & Co-Founder of TechEagle, commented on the announcement, saying, "Animal husbandry is an important economic sector, and livestock rearing directly influences the socio-economic condition of Arunachal Pradesh. As a result, it is necessary to ensure the health of livestock even in remote areas. We are thrilled to have worked with the Animal Husbandry Department to empower farmers and build a strong infrastructure using unprecedented drone delivery systems."
