The money plant is an evergreen vine. Its leaves are heart-shaped and the plant climbs and adheres to surfaces using aerial roots. Some species of this plant also produce flowers. It is popularly kept as a houseplant in temperate regions and is even used in decorative displays in public locations as it requires little care and has a very attractive and vibrant appeal. People with pets must be careful because this plant can be toxic to cats and dogs

Chinese money plant- Chinese money plant or Pilea peperomioides is also known as the coin plant because of its round leaves that resemble coins. This type of money plant is low maintenance and must be kept in a place with bright yet indirect sunlight. They usually develop offshoots that help propagate these plants easily.
Golden Pothos- Golden Pothos is the most popular and common variety of money plants. It is also known as devil’s ivy. This plant receives its moniker from its leaves that have bright golden and yellow hues to them. It is considered a very auspicious plant in many South Asian countries because it symbolizes prosperity, good luck, and financial abundance.
The Golden Pothos plant can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors. They can easily adapt to adverse conditions; however, they do not appreciate direct sunlight. Try to keep this plant in a place with bright yet direct sunlight. This plant is usually used to define the boundaries of balconies or gardens but also looks great in hanging pots.
Split Leaf Money Plant- Split leaf money plant or Monstera deliciosa is a large-leaf variety of money plants. Not only are its leaves big but they also have deeply indented margins or are lobate in structure. As a young plant, it requires a lot of nutrients. Therefore, make sure to feed this plant regularly in its early stages otherwise it’ll start taking nutrients away from other plants. This plant grows extremely rapidly and is drought-tolerant. Like other money plants, this plant can survive in low sunlight.
Jade plant- Jade plant or Crassula ovata is also known as the money tree in many countries. It is another variety of low-maintenance house plants. However, unlike other varieties of money plants, it requires a lot of direct sunlight. Its leaves are spherical in shape and resemble coins. Therefore, in many cultures, it symbolizes a steady accumulation of wealth. According to Feng Shui, the jade plant brings luck into our lives and even promotes long life.
Marble Queen money plant- The marble queen money plant is a wonderful houseplant that has white and green leaves. To get its characteristic leaves, the marble queen prefers strong sunshine for at least 4 to 6 hours every day.
Silver Money Plant- Silver money plant or Scindapsus pictus is also known as satin pothos. This variety of money plants is popular because of its variegated leaves with shimmery silver color patterns over green leaves. They make for excellent indoor plants as they thrive in indirect sunlight. It is recommended to keep this plant in hanging pots as they look lovely when they drape their container.
Swiss Cheese Money Plant- The Swiss cheese money plant is known for its gorgeous large variegated leaves that have a cheese-like perforation pattern on them. They also make for excellent indoor plants but can grow inside and outside the home in bright yet indirect sunlight.
Lucky Bamboo- Lucky Bamboo or Dracaena sanderiana is a perennial herb and not a variety of bamboo. Even though they are fleshy and hollow on the inside, their stems resemble bamboo. In Feng Shui, lucky bamboo is considered a lucky plant that encourages prosperity and good fortune in life.
