In the second phase of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan), the Modi government has given the first instalment of Rs.2000 each to 3.36 crore farmers of the country. If you have not received the money of this scheme till now, then you should contact your Lekhpal or District Agriculture Officer. If your problem doesn’t get resolved, then contact at the PM-Kisan Helpline - 155261 or 1800115526 issued by the Union Ministry of Agriculture. You may also contact the ministry officials at 011- 23381092.
It is worth noting that during the launch of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi' yojana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that complete transparency has been maintained in this scheme. The list of beneficiary farmers will be released in the Gram Panchayat. After that the scheme of the beneficiary farmers will be uploaded on the 'PM-Kisan Portal'. Farmers who come under this scheme, but their names are not in the list can meet the officials at the block or district level and inform them about their problems.
Send photo of Aadhaar and bank pass book at WhatsApp to get PM-Kisan benefit/money
Farmers whose Aadhaar number, name and bank account number are wrong due to which they are not getting the benefit of PM-Kisan scheme don’t need to worry. Without going anywhere, their problems will be solved. All they have to do is send a photo of Aadhaar card and bank passbook to the WhatsApp number issued by the department. After this, department officials will be able to solve the problem.
For the prevention of Coronavirus pandemic, online arrangements have also been made in the government offices of Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. In view of growing cases of Coronavirus, the Agriculture Department has released a WhatsApp number to rectify the errors of farmers who are not getting the benefit of PM-Kisan Yojana. Instead of submitting records at offices, farmers will have to send the photo of Aadhaar and bank passbook to the WhatsApp number issued by the department.
