Crores of farmers are waiting for the seventh installment of PM Kisan, which was scheduled to be released in the first week of December. PM Modi had released the sixth installment in August.
More than two weeks have passed but still farmers have not received the PM Kisan money. What is the reason for the delay and when will the government release the money?
What is the reason for the delay in payment of PM Kisan Money
As per sources, the main reason for the delay in disbursal of PM Kisan installment is ongoing farmers protest or Kisan Andolan against the three farm laws. It must be noted that thousands of farmers are protesting against PM Modi’s government since past 20 days. Farmers want the government to take back the farm bills. Government on the other hand says it will not take back the laws, as it will ultimately help the farmers and the agriculture sector. Talks and discussions are going on between the Government and farmer leaders.
If you are checking your status on PM kisan.gov.in, and find a message saying ‘FTO is Generated and Payment confirmation is pending’ then it means government has confirmed the details given by you and now money will be transferred to your account very soon. The 7th installment of PM Kisan will be transferred to your bank account soon.
Note - FTO means Fund Transfer Order.
What is the meaning of Rft Signed by State?
At the same time, when while checking your payment status at website you see ‘Rft signed by State for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th instalment’ written. Here Rft means Request for Transfer. This means that 'the beneficiary's data has been checked by the state government, which is found to be correct.' After this, the state government requests the Center to send money to the beneficiary's account.
