There is good news for farmers waiting for the 7th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, popularly known as PM-Kisan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the farmers' of Madhya Pradesh on Friday (18 December 2020) said that the next installment of PM Kisan will be released on the 25th of December. He said that he will disburse the next installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on the birth anniversary of Late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This means farmers will get the 7th installment of PM-Kisan yojana on 25th December.
Under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the Modi government gives Rs 6,000 annually to crores of farmers across the country. The government sends the money in three installments of Rs 2,000 to the account of small and marginal farmers of India.
FTO is Generated and Payment confirmation is pending – what does it mean?
While checking your status on the PM Kisan website if you find a message saying ‘FTO is Generated and Payment confirmation is pending’ then it means the Central government has confirmed the details given by farmers and now money will be transferred to your account soon. FTO means Fund Transfer Order.
What does RFT Signed by State mean?
While checking the payment status at website if you see ‘Rft signed by State for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th instalment’ written then it means that 'the beneficiary's data has been checked and verified by the state government.' After this, the state government requests the Central Government to send money to the beneficiary's account. Here Rft means Request for Transfer.
