The central government launched Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana or PM-Kisan in 2019 to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers across the country. Under PM-Kisan scheme, every farmer would be given Rs.6000 per year in three installments. Farmers who haven’t registered for this scheme must do it as early as possible to avail government assistance.
PM-Kisan Scheme Registration Process
A farmer can apply or register for PM-Kisan scheme by visiting the official website of the government of India - www.pmkisan.gov.in/. This is the main website of PM-Kisan. Here he will have to fill in the application form with correct details.
Farmer can also approach the local patwari /revenue officer /Nodal Officer of PM-Kisan scheme appointed by the government of particular state or can directly visit the Common Services Centres (CSC) to apply for the scheme.
