Finally a sign of relief for the farmers, who could not receive their earlier installments, which falls under the category of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. Around 12 crore farmers have benefitted from this scheme. This scheme was launched 2 years back and has provided the minimum income support to the farmers of India.
Earlier, the Central Government had disbursed the PM Kisan 9th installment of the most popular Pradhan Mantri Samman Nidhi Scheme on 9th August 2021.
According to the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana, a farmer whose name falls under the beneficiary list but, fails to get installment under a given condition, then that person will receive the money accompanied with the next installment.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, the government is likely to double the amount provided to farmers. Along with the revised scheme, a beneficiary, who used to receive Rs 6,000 yearly, will now receive Rs 12000 in 3 installments.
Approximately, a total of around 12.14 crore families of farmers have benefitted from the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme.
