PM Kisan Yojana: Big Update on 11th Installment; These Farmers Will Not Get Rs. 2000

Lakhs of beneficiaries/farmers may not get the 11th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana for not following the instructions given by Government.

In the last few years, the government has launched many initiatives and schemes to help farmers in the country. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is one such scheme. Under this scheme, every year an amount of Rs. 6000 is transferred to the bank accounts of eligible farmers.

The government has so far released 10 installments under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The last installment was released on 1 January 2022 and now government is preparing to disburse the 11th installment. According to the latest report, the Centre can release the installment and transfer money to farmers’ bank account anytime. However, due to changes in rules many farmers may not get the 11th installment.

In the last few days, the government has identified many ineligible farmers taking benefit of the scheme. There are many people who even became fake farmers to get this amount. To deal with all these situations, the government has made it mandatory to complete the process of e-KYC. The farmers whose e-KYC process is not completed by 31st May will be deprived of the 11th installment.

Also, there are many people who are not eligible for PM Kisan Yojana, such people will not get the money as the officials are strictly monitoring them. Institutional farmers do not get the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana.

The following categories of beneficiaries’ of high economic status are not be eligible for the scheme.

1. All Institutional Land holders.

2. Farmers who belong to one or more of the following categories:.

  • Former & present holders of constitutional posts

  • Former & present Ministers/ State Ministers and former/present Members of Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha/ State Legislative Assemblies or State Legislative Councils, ex and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations, former & present Chairpersons of District Panchayats.

  • All superannuated or retired pensioners whose monthly pension is either Rs.10,000 or above.

  • All serving / retired officers & employees of Central/ State Govt Ministries /Offices/Departments & its field units Central or State PSEs and Attached offices /Autonomous Institutions under Government & regular employees of the Local Bodies (Excluding Multi-Tasking Staff  or Class IV or Group D employees)

  • All those who paid Income Tax in last assessment year

  • Professionals like Engineers, Lawyers, Doctors, Chartered Accountants & Architects who are registered with Professional bodies & carrying out profession by undertaking practices.
