Just because of some minor mistakes, many farmers have not received the sixth installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana till now. The Centre had disbursed the sixth installment of PM Kisan in August. As per data, so far, about 42 lakh farmers in Uttar Pradesh have not received the August installment. On the other hand, in Madhya Pradesh, only 13 percent of registered farmers have got Rs. 2000. Also thousands of farmers in Rajasthan, Bihar, Haryana and Maharashtra have been deprived of this financial support due to minor mistakes in their application forms.
Why farmers did not get sixth installment of PM-Kisan
The biggest reason for this is minor mistakes in the application or registration form. For example, the name written in someone's application does not match with that in Aadhaar card or bank details. According to an official from the Union Ministry of Agriculture, there has been huge mistakes in the names, mobile numbers and bank account details of the farmers. Most of the cases have been reported from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and UP.
Another reason could be that Aadhaar seeding has not been done at the National Payment Corporation of India.
