PM Kisan New List 2022: There has been a big change in PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 2022, which will directly affect more than 12 crore farmers in the country. This change has come at a time when the assembly election in 5 states including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab is about to start from February 10. Due to this change, beneficiaries will not be able to avail an important facility.
7 changes made in PM Kisan so far
Since the inception of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, seven changes have been made. A few days back, government had made e-KYC mandatory for all the beneficiaries, although it has been put on hold for a few days. The recent change will cause some inconvenience to the beneficiaries of PM Kisan.
It must be noted that till now 12.44 crore farmers have registered under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
What is the latest change in PM Kisan?
Earlier farmers used to check their status themselves after registration. Like what is the status of the application, how much installment has arrived in their bank account etc. By visiting the PM Kisan website, any farmer can get status information by entering his Aadhaar number, mobile or bank account number.
Now due to the latest change, you will not be able to see your status from mobile number on PM Kisan website. You will be able to know beneficiary status only by entering your Aadhar number or bank account number.
Why government made this change?
There is no doubt it was very easy and convenient in checking the status from the mobile number. At the same time, it had some disadvantages too. Actually, many people used to check others status by entering their mobile number. This way they used to get a lot of information about many farmer-beneficiaries.
PM Kisan 10th Installment Update
The government had released the 10th installment of PM Kisan Yojana on 1 January 2022. Most of the beneficiaries have received the financial assistance but if you haven't received then don't worry as the money will reach your account before March 2022.
