PM Kisan Update: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had transferred the 10th installment of Rs. 2000 to the farmers' account on 1 January 2022 under its most successful scheme - PM Kisan Yojana.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, popularly known as PM-Kisan, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is given every year to the beneficiary farmer families in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each. This amount is directly transferred to the beneficiary's bank account.
11th Installment Date
The 10th installment came in the first week of January, according to this it is being estimated that the 11th installment will come into the farmers' account in the first week of April. Hence before the government releases, the amount farmers must check their status and update it so that without any problem they receive the money.
How to check your PM Kisan Account status
First, go to the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
Here you will find an option on the right-hand side of the homepage – ‘Farmers Corner’
Now click on the option that reads Beneficiary Status. A new page will open in front of you
On the new page, select any one option - Aadhar Number or Bank Account Number. By entering any of these numbers, you can easily check the status of your account and also whether money has come to your account or not.
Now click on Get Data.
After clicking here you will get all the transaction information. That is, when did the last installment come in your account and in which bank account it was credited. You will get all the information related to your installment here. If you see FTO is generated and Payment confirmation is pending then it means that your amount is being processed and money will soon come in your account. But if don’t find this message then there is some problem hence immediately contact the agriculture office.
Why eKYC is mandatory?
Centre had recently made eKYC mandatory for the farmers so as to prevent/stop any kind of scam or misuse of this government scheme. Therefore all the beneficiaries have been asked to complete the eKYC by 31st March.
