During 'PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022 and Agri Startup Conclave' in Delhi, Modi released an amount of Rs. 16,000 crores for crores of farmers under its flagship scheme - PM Kisan Yojana.
Shobha Karandlaje, Union Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare who was also present at the event tweeted that over Rs. 16,000 crores have been transferred to over 8 crore small and marginal farmers across India.

Till now, eligible beneficiaries have received financial assistance of more than Rs. 2 lakh crores under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana through eleven installments. Of this, Rs 1.6 lakh crore was released during the COVID pandemic. The total amount transferred to the farmers has crossed over Rs 2.16 lakh crore.
Besides this, PM Modi will also inaugurate the Agri Startup Conclave and Exhibition today. As many as 300 start-ups will showcase their innovation related to Precision Farming, Post-Harvest & Value Add Solutions, Allied Agriculture Waste to Wealth, Mechanization for Small Farmers, Supply Chain Management & Argi-Logistic on the first day.

Follow the steps given below to check the new list uploaded by the government on the PM Kisan portal;
Step 1 - Go to the official government website and open it.
Step 2 - Look for ‘Farmers Corner’ on the homepage of the website.
Step 3 – Now click on ‘Beneficiary List’ option.
Step 4- Carefully enter your state, district, sub-district, block & village details.
Step 5 - After filling all these details, click on ‘Get Report’ and you will get the complete list.

What is PM Kisan
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana popularly known as PM Kisan is a flagship scheme of Central Government. The scheme was launched by PM Modi on 24 February 2019.
Benefits of PM Kisan
Under the scheme, eligible farmers are given a benefit of Rs. 6000 annually in three equal instalments of Rs. 2000 each, every four months. The money is transferred directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode.
The scheme has been very helpful to farmers of the country to manage their daily expenses during the COVID pandemic.
