The Government of India has launched various schemes to improve the economic condition of the farmers in the country. The objective of these schemes is to provide them with a better and more secure future.

Keeping this in mind, the Central Government introduced Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, popularly known as PM Kisan. Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 every year in three installments of Rs. 2000 each. So far, the government has transferred 11 installments to the accounts of crores of farmers under PM Kisan Yojana.

Moreover, the government will soon transfer the 12th installment to the farmers. In such a situation, to get the benefit of installment without any interruption, farmers should do some important work as soon as possible.

If you have not completed the eKYC of your account then do it immediately. The government has fixed 31 July 2022 as the last date for updating PM Kisan e-KYC. Those who will not do this before the fixed deadline then they may not get the 12th installment.

It has been observed that during the registration, farmers enter their name, address, mobile number, and Aadhaar card number incorrectly. The government rejects the application of such people hence make sure that you give the correct details while applying for the scheme.

PM Kisan 12th Installment Update

As per several media reports, the Centre will disburse the 12th installment of Rs. 2000 in the month of August or September. However, there is no official confirmation from the government on this.

Government makes important change in PM Kisan Scheme

It is also worth mentioning that the government has made a small change in the scheme. Now you will not be able to check the beneficiary status through your Aadhaar number. The beneficiary status can be checked only through the registration number or mobile number.
