PM-Kisan: How are beneficiaries identified
The Center has asked the state / UT governments to use the "existing land ownership system" so that beneficiaries can be identified and money can be sent to their account after the family details are uploaded on the PM-Kisan Portal. It states that the responsibility of identifying the eligible beneficiary farmers and uploading their details on the PM-Kisan Portal is entirely the responsibility of the state governments. Once applied, the state / UT governments have the right to inquire about the same. If everything information is found correct only then the farmers will be given the benefits of this scheme.
