Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana benefits more than 12 crore farmers in India. PM Kisan was started by the Modi government keeping in mind the small and marginal farmers. Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of Rs.6,000 to the farmers in 3 installments in a year. PM Kisan: Eligibility
Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, all farmers are eligible to apply 14.5 Crore farmers in the country, irrespective of their landholding size.
If someone files income tax return then he is kept out of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.
If the land is not registered under his /her name, then that person is not eligible for this scheme, even if it is their Father/ grandfather’s land.
When Can the 10th Installment be Transferred?
Under the 10th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, 2000 rupees are expected to arrive in the bank account of farmers by 15 December 2021. There are also speculations that the installment amount will be increased this time and the farmers will receive Rs.4000 instead of Rs.2000.
