The central government is making every effort to double farmers’ income by 2022. To achieve this goal, the Modi government had started PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, the government provides Rs 6,000 every year to the farmers.

Below we have mentioned some important news and updates regarding the scheme;
PM Kisan 10th Installment Date
Earlier the government had planned to release the 10th installment under PM Kisan on 15 December 2021 but it could not do so due to some reasons. Now sources said that the Centre will disburse the PM Kisan money on 23 December. Last year, the government had disbursed the funds on 25 December 2020.
e-KYC is mandatory for farmers
The government has made e-KYC Aadhaar mandatory for farmers registered under PM KISAN yojana. Farmers will get the installment only if they complete the e-KYC. Without this, their installment will not come.
Farmers have received 9 installments so far
The beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana have so far received a total of 9 installments and now they are eagerly waiting for the 10th installment.
Lakhs of farmers in the country still have not received the 9th installment. According to the information received on PM Kisan website, all the farmers who have applied for the 9th installment till September 30, their money will be transferred to their account along with the 10th installment.
How to check PM-KISAN payment details?
Step by step method to check beneficiary status and other details;

Firstly visit the official website

At the top, there will be a 'Farmers Corner' option, click on it.

Here select the Beneficiary Status option, where you can check the application status.

There will be a list in which the name of the farmer and the amount sent to his bank account will be written.

Now enter Aadhar Number, Account Number or Mobile Number.

Click 'Get Data'.
Farmers not eligible for PM Kisan scheme

Those who have agricultural land but pay income tax.

Professionals like doctors, chartered accountants, lawyers, engineers, architects.

Retired employees whose pension is more than Rs.10,000.

Ministers of Central and State Governments, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, Mayors, existing and former Chairman of Zilla Panchayat cannot take advantage of the scheme.
