There’s good news at the government level for the farmers residing in Lalganj, Uttar Pradesh. This facility is going to be available to those farmers who have been deprived of the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana till now.
PM Fasal Bima Yojana Facilitation Center
The government has directed to set up Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana facility at the tehsil headquarters level to provide maximum facilities to the farmers.
In the order of instructions, the insurance company HDFC ERGO has arranged for in-charge and furniture etc. to set up a facilitation centre in the office of the Sub-Divisional Agriculture Extension Officer located at Lalganj.
However, if everything goes well, the work will start soon and the problems of the farmers related to the insurance scheme will be resolved at the tehsil level.
Vinay Kumar Yadav, District Coordinator of Insurance Company HDFC ERGO said that the Facilitation Center is being established at the Tehsil level on the instructions of the Government. In this, the insurance company has been appointed in charge of the office, which will help the farmers in getting the benefits of the crop insurance scheme.

This Crop Insurance Scheme is in consonance with the One Nation- One Scheme theme. It includes the best features of all previous schemes and at the same time, all previous shortcomings have been removed. It replaced the existing two schemes National Agricultural Insurance Scheme (NAIS) as well as the Modified NAIS. Its objectives are:
