National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), a PSU under the Department of Fertilizers, has collaborated with Industrial Training Institute in Raghogarh, Madhya Pradesh to train the youth in different trades and to increase the chances of their employability in heavy as well as process industry.
The NFL, Vijaipur Unit has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with neighboring Industrial Training Institute, Raghogarh, to train youth in Fitter, Electrician and Welder trades. Trainees will be skilled under the Dual System of Training Scheme under which they will learn about theoretical skills in the institute and six months on-the-job training in National Fertilizers Limited Vijaipur plant.
As per information, overall duration of training will be as per the course curriculum of ITI. But the trainees will get six months of exposure or training of industry (in NFL Vijaipur Unit) out of the overall training duration.
The MoU was signed between Chief Manager (HR), NFL Vijaipur unit, Mr. Narender Singh and Principal of ITI, Raghogarh, Mr. J P Koli, in the presence of CGM, NFL Vijaipur, Mr. Jagdip Shah Singh.
The company is also planning to explore more such options in the future to give impetus to Skill India by providing training to more youth from institutes around its plants.
National Fertilizers Limited has five gas based Ammonia-Urea plants in Nangal, Panipat plant in Haryana, Bathinda plants in Punjab and two plants at Vijaipur in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna District.
