The event's organizer, Sanjay Nayaharkar, while addressing the media stated that the expo will focus on new farming technologies being used around the world, as well as the felicitation of young farmers and seminars on a variety of issues.

"Around 300 stalls will display agricultural inputs, machinery, and advanced farming technologies. Workshops and seminars have been organized to inform farmers about various agricultural research, farmer experiments, and new technologies," he added.

"Our goal is to bring advanced agricultural technology and research to farmers in order to help them make farming profitable. We've organized grape and pomegranate seminars to help farmers during the expo," he said. Around 15 lakh people from across the country are expected to attend the expo this year.

Why Nashik?

Krishithon and Nashik are two sides of the same coin in terms of agriculture. Nashik is the wine capital of India and the Agricultural capital of Maharashtra. In India, Nashik is famous for its grapes, onions, fresh vegetables, and pomegranates. The city also takes pride in having the best infrastructure. Nashik has also become a popular industrial destination due to its rail, road, and air connectivity.

Further, the proposed projects of Golden Quadrangle, Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor, Samruddhi Expressway, and Dry Port will propel Nashik to new heights.
