On November 27-28, 2018 the House of the Government of Moscow region will host the 5th International Agricultural Dairy Forum organized by the Government of Moscow region with the support of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture. For Russia, the Forum is a well-reputed venue to discuss the most relevant issues related to the milk products market, business and dairy industry as a whole. Last year, the International Dairy Forum hosted over 2,000 attendees from 35 countries.
This year the event is likely to draw more attention due to the many developments that took place the previous year and that are most likely to dramatically influence the formation of the new dairy industry.
During the first day of the Forum, the participants will be able to attend the plenary session that is to be held in a new format; the event will cover several issues related to one subject, that collectively can be referred to as The Dairy Industry: New Rules of the Game. Export and Processing. Among the problems to be discussed at the plenary session are the increase in volumes of deep processing of milk, support and development of small farms, new legislative initiatives and need for state support. The programme of the Forum also provides for discussion of other relevant issues such as the development of international ties, private investments into the industry and efficient use of successful cases.
Denis Butsaev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Moscow region, commented on the importance of the Forum: The International Agricultural Dairy Forum shows positive dynamics every year, becoming a more global event. The dairy market is getting more stable in 2018, which gives us every ground to believe that the industry has a great potential in terms of innovations and investments. The Forum will highlight one of the main lines of the industry's development, that is digitalization, the principal growth driver in the Agricultural complex in 2019.
Traditionally the 5th International Agricultural Forum will host an exhibition of dairy companies from Russia and abroad representing dairy products and equipment used in the milk industry. Visitors should pay special attention to the results of innovation projects implemented in the Moscow region and a showroom where attendees can try new milk and dairy products manufactured by Russian and global companies.
