Chhattisgarh government to release the fourth instalment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and 15th and 16th instalment of Godhan Nyay Yojana. Chief Minister BhupeshBaghel will transfer around 1112 crore rupees directly to the accounts of beneficiary farmers.
Under Godhan Nyay Yojana, the state procures cow dung for a price from cattle rearers. The program is planned for today at the Chief Minister BhupeshBaghel’s official residence at. And Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi will attend the program virtually.
The instalments of both Rajiv Gandhi NyayYojana and GodhanNyayYojana will be transferred at the function.
Rajiv Gandhi KisanNyayYojana was launched last year on 21 May to provide agricultural input assistance to farmers and to increase production and the productivity of major crops of the state.
Under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, a total of 18.38 lakh farmers including 9.54 marginal farmers, 5.60 small farmers, and 3.21 lakh large farmers have been paid Rs. 4,500 crore in the last three instalments and 4,777 certified seed growers have been paid Rs. 23.62 crore in the last three instalments.
A total of 4523.62 crore rupees has been paid to a total of 18.43 lakh farmers in the last three instalments.
And under the Godhan Nyay Yojana, state purchase the cow dung at the rate of 2 rupees per kg to provide additional income to the livestock rearers.
