The Association for Innovation Development of Entrepreneurship in Agriculture (a-IDEA), hosted by the ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with NACL Industries Limited, Konda Laxma Reddy Telangana State Horticultural University, Hyderabad, ICAR-Sugarcane Breeding Institute, Coimbatore, and ICAR-National Research Centre on Grapes, Pune to support the startups incubated at a-IDEA in particular and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in general.
Co-incubation, technical support, mentoring, lab facilities, networking, value-added services, and co-networking opportunities were proposed by the MoA.
Dr. G. Venkateshwarlu, Joint Director, ICAR-NAARM, emphasized the importance of collaboration among organizations in strengthening Agri-startups.

Vijaya, OIC PGHIS from SKLTSHU, Dr. Hemaprabha, Director and Dr. Murali, PS at ICAR-SBI, Dr. R. G. Somkuwar, Director and Dr. Ajay Kumar Sharma, PS at NRC Grapes represented their respective organizations in the MoA.
Dr. Senthil Vinayagam, CEO, a-IDEA coordinated MoA and the event was attended by Dr. N. A. Vijay Avinashilingam, Soma Sundaram, DGM, NABARD TSRO, ACEO, Dr. P. D. Sreekanth, Treasurer, a-IDEA, NAARM faculty, a-IDEA personnel and the incubatees of a-IDEA besides the staff members of the participating organizations.
About ICAR-NAARM:
The ICAR-NAARM is a national-level service training institute for the ARS cadre in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It was founded in 1976 by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) to address issues concerning agricultural research, training and development, and education management in India. In its early years, the Academy primarily provided foundation training to new members of the Agricultural Research Service of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
About SKLTSHU:
Sri Laxman Konda Telangana State Horticultural University (SKLTSHU) is a state agricultural university focusing on horticulture research and education, located in Budwel, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The Government of Telangana established it in 2014 by dividing the Dr. Y.S.R. Horticultural University. The university comprises two constituent colleges: the College of Horticulture at Mojerla in the Mahbubnagar district and the College of Horticulture at Rajendranagar in the Hyderabad district.
