The time duration for NABARD Grade A prelims is 120 minutes i.e. 2 hours. The different sections are not individually timed. This means you are left with just a little over 30 seconds per question. Understand that time management is the key to clear this exam.

The preliminary examination is a gate-pass to NABARD Grade A mains examination. It is only qualifying in nature. Candidates must clear this exam as well as the cutoff in order to qualify for the next round. Therefore it is important to keep studying for the mains examinations along with the prelims.

Select your questions wisely and attempt only those questions that you are sure about as there is negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrongly attempted question. You wouldn’t want to lose marks in vain.
Go through the syllabus: The next step towards getting a little closer to qualifying for the exam is to go through the detailed syllabus. But one must remember that merely finishing the syllabus will be of no use. Practicing is very important; it will help you increase your speed and accuracy and that is exactly what you need.
