The Central Government is likely to release the 9th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana soon. Hence farmers who are taking benefit of this scheme should check their application status, payment details etc. in the official website or through PM Kisan Mobile App.

As per latest media reports, Centre will start disbursing the 9th installment of PM Kisan from the first week of August. Farmers whose records are correct and timely updated will get Rs. 2000 first. Those whose applications have errors will not get the financial aid.
While farmers are eagerly waiting for the next instalment, it is important to know that due to certain possible errors, money may not reach your account. Hence it is important to check PM Kisan Payment Status time to time.
How to check PM Kisan Beneficiary Status
Follow the steps given below to know your payment status and other details;
Step 1 – Go to the official website of PM-Kisan - pmkisan.gov.in
Step 2 – Now look for ‘Farmers Corner’ on the right-hand side of the homepage
*At Farmer's corner, you can do self-registration for the scheme, edit Aadhaar details, check beneficiary status, list, and many other things.
Step 3 – Now click on the Beneficiary status link
Step 4 – Now enter any of the three - Aadhaar Number / Account Number / Mobile Number
Step 5 – Then click on Get Data
Step 6 – PM Kisan payment status will be displayed on the screen. Check the details carefully and if required do the necessary changes.
To check eligible beneficiary list – go to farmers’ corner and click on beneficiary list. Fill in the details and the list will appear in your screen.
What is PM Kisan Yojana?
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a Central government scheme with 100% funding from Government of India. The scheme became operational from 1 December 2018. PM-Kisan money is credited to the farmers' account thrice in a year – the first instalment comes in between April-July, second from August to November & third instalment from December to March.
How many members of a family can register for scheme?
Only one person in the family can register or apply for the scheme. If more than one person is found availing, the benefit of the scheme (from a family) then government will take strict action against them.
