Dr. U S Awasthi, IFFCO's Managing Director, is a busy man these days, with field reports on Nano's use streaming in from all over the country. Dr. Awasthi, who is well-versed in social media, is sharing the knowledge.

The MD recently uploaded a video in which a prominent scientist from KVK (Krishi Vigyan Kendra) discussed his experience using Nano urea in tomato production. According to the scientist, the results were spectacular.

"Senior Scientist Dr. Santosh Karanjay Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Baramati, Maharashtra is sharing his experience about using the IFFCO Nano Urea on tomato crop which improved the quality of tomatoes and also increased the length of plants which bore more tomatoes than before," Dr. Awasthi writes in a post accompanying the video.

Karanjay claims in a brief video that he has been applying Nano urea every 30 days. He claims that only 4ml of Nano should be used per liter of water. Following the application of Nano urea, he reports phenomenal crop growth.

Nano In Increasing Crop Production

"I estimate that we could get 50 tonnes of tomatoes from one acre of land if we used Nano," Karanjay adds, adding that the need for conventional urea might be cut in half.

The crop's length has also increased as a result of Nano spraying, according to the scientist. In addition, they are producing more tomatoes. He adds in the video that the plants have grown taller than him.

Awasthi had previously tweeted a video of a farmer rushing to get a Nano bottle for his peppermint crop. According to the farmer in the video, he became concerned when he learned of the lack of Nano in the markets as he is accustomed to using it on his crops. In the video, the happy farmer waxes poetic about Nano after receiving the same.

IFFCO Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani stated Nano Urea is a step forward in Atma Nirbhar Bharat and fits into the Prime Minister's vision during the recent unveiling of the organization's new office in Kolkata. In addition, IFFCO met its goal of producing 3 crores Nano bottles on this occasion.

In an event held at Sahakar Bhawan in Lucknow recently, Uttar Pradesh Minister JPS Rathore informed farmers about the use of Nano Urea virtually. Over 5,000 farmers, cooperators, employees, and others virtually joined the event.
