Andhra Pradesh Minister for Agriculture, K. Kannababu said that in the second phase of Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan scheme, more than 50.47 lakh farmers have been extended financial aid of Rs. 1,114 crore today (27th October 2020).
While talking to media on Monday, Kannababu said the transfer of the money to the bank accounts of the farmers was done by Andhra Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at one stroke of a button at 11 a.m.
The minister added that in the first phase, as many as 46 lakh farmers were benefited from the Rythu Bharosa scheme and the number has been increased to 50.47 now.
Kannababu told that the government had already released an amount of Rs. 113.11 crore towards input subsidy to the farmers who faced loss due to floods as well as rains in Visakhapatnam, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, Nellore, East Godavari, West Godavari, Kurnool, Kadapa & Anantapur districts. He said for the horticulture farmers, Rs. 22.59-crore input subsidy was released.
The agriculture minister also said that Rythu Bharosa amount will be given to farmers in the Agency areas who were given forest land rights on 2nd October.

Farmers can follow the steps given below to check their status and payment details;
Step 1 – Go to the official website - https://ysrrythubharosa.ap.gov.in/
Step 2- On the homepage you will find a link that says check your Rythubharosa status. Click it.
Step 3 – A new page will open wherein you will have to enter Aadhaar number
Step 4 – Then click submit button
Step 5 – Details will appear on the screen

About Rythu Bharosa scheme
Under Rythu Bharosa scheme, the farmers are given Rs 13,500 in a year, and in five years, they will get Rs 67,500, not as a loan, but as an investment to buy farm inputs.
