UP Krishi Yantra Subsidy Scheme: The procedure of obtaining agricultural machinery on grant to farmers in Uttar Pradesh began on 12th November 2021. Farmers can make online reservations through the Agriculture Department's website. Interested farmers from nine divisions can apply until November 18 on a first-come, first-served basis.
Dates for each circle have been given. The booking of agricultural machinery was supposed to be finished in October, but it was postponed owing to the portal's hacking, and it is now being restarted after a security check.
Rabi crop sowing is in full swing in Uttar Pradesh at the moment. The government's objective was that farmers should be able to hire agricultural equipments prior to the commencement of sowing, so that they could utilise the equipment according to their needs. Farmers in Gorakhpur and Ayodhya divisions had problems booking on October 13 and 14, and after the government examined the matter, it was discovered that the applications had been submitted before the deadline.
The procedure was postponed by the Agriculture Department, which turned the probe over to the Cyber Cell and requested a security audit of the portal. The inquiry has yet to be completed by the cyber cell. The booking of agricultural machinery for nine divisions will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday and will continue through November 18, division by division, according to Joint Director Engineering Neeraj Srivastava. More than 30 thousand machines are ready to be distributed on a grant basis.

Grant Of 10,000 Rupees Is Not a Sure Amount
Agricultural machinery with a grant of ten thousand to one lakh rupees will require a security deposit of 2500 rupees, while agricultural machinery with a grant of more than one lakh rupees would require a security deposit of 5000 rupees.
