There is a good news for crores of farmers waiting for the next installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. As per information, few farmers will get the April-July installment of PM Kisan very soon.
Farmers whose status says ‘FTO is generated and Payment confirmation is pending’ will be the ones who will get PM Kisan money first. The Government will transfer Rs. 2000 to their bank account on priority basis. It must be noted that the last installment of PM Kisan was released on 25 December 2020.
What is FTO?
FTO means Fund Transfer Order. It means that the state government has verified the beneficiary’s Aadhaar number, bank account number and other details including bank’s IFSC code. The installment amount of these farmers is ready and orders have been given by the government to send it to your bank account. However, in some farmers' status, Waiting for approval by state is still showing.
What does Waiting for approval by state mean?
While checking PM Kisan status on your mobile or computer, you will find an option - ‘Waiting for approval by state’ which means that the state government has not approved your application for this installment. If you see ‘Rft Signed by State Government’ in your status then this means - the beneficiary's data has been checked by the state government, which is found to be correct. And the state government requests the Center to send money to the beneficiary's account. Full form of RTF is Request For Transfer.
PM Kisan 8th installment update
The 8th installment of PM Kisan can come anytime between April- July. Due to the ongoing farmers protest and worsening Covid-19 situation in the country, payment is getting delayed. Hence to know about the 8th installment, you must keep checking your status time to time.
How to check PM Kisan status
Follow the steps given below to check PM Kisan account balance;

Go to the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme - https://pmkisan.gov.in/. You will get all latest updates on this website.

Now look for ‘Farmer’s Corner Section.

Then select ‘Beneficiary Status option. In this, the beneficiary can find his or her application status for PM Kisan. The list will have farmer’s name and the amount sent in his bank account.

After that, select the name of your state, district, Sub-District, Block & Village one by one from the drop down option.

After completing all this, click on the ‘Get Report’
