Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has directed the agriculture department officials to disburse the Rythu Bandhu amount immediately as the agricultural activities have already commenced in the rural areas. Under Rythu Bandhu scheme, farm incentive amount of 5,000 rupees per acre will be deposited into the accounts of all eligible farmers in the State for Vaanakalam (monsoon) season that too within next 10 days.
The Chief Minister of Telangana held a meeting for implementation of the regulated farming and Rythu Bandhu scheme in the State, at Pragathi Bhavan. The CM has expressed happiness over all the farmers coming forward & joining hands with the State government to regulate farming to turn agriculture into a profitable occupation.
Rao added, with regulated farming across the State, farmers will earn remunerative prices for their produce. He even urged farmers not to look for hand loans from money lenders & rather make best use of the Rythu Bandhu money to take up cultivation. The Chief Minister has directed officials concerned to prepare an action plan for Yasangi season to take up regulated farming on the lines of the Monsoon season.
He has appreciated farmers in the State for agreeing to go in for the regulated cultivation as advised by the government & for getting ready to sow the seeds accordingly. It is to be noted that the State government had proposed regulatory cultivation, wherein farmers would cultivate those crops, which have demand in the market, to make agriculture a profitable venture.
He even instructed the officials concerned to extend Rythu Bandhu Scheme benefits to all the farming community. Work on agriculture has started & farmers should not worry about the input money, said Rao.
