The state government has decided to provide a grant (subsidy) for the water tank to farmers of Rajasthan who are facing water shortages. This help will be given under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana. According to state government officials, all categories of farmers will get 60% of the cost per unit for making water tanks of a minimum of 1 lakh liters of filling capacity.
The state government will give an additional grant of 10% of the cost. A maximum grant of Rs 75000 will be available for the water tank.
Application process

A farmer can apply for a grant under this scheme by visiting the nearest E-Mitra center.

The receipt of the originally signed application was filled up & submitted at the kiosk along with documents.

The applicant will fill the original application form in the online e-form & get the required documents scanned and uploaded.

Farmers who have applied will get their receipt online only.

Now send the original documents through the post to the office of the concerned Agriculture Department, the officials of the department will give a receipt for getting it.

Necessary documents such as a copy of Aadhar Card, Bhamashah Card & Jamabandi must be attached with the application form.

It should be noted that the copy of Jamabandi should not be more than six months old.

The claim is that after the completion of all this work, the matter will have to be settled within 30 days i.e. the benefit will have to be given.

If a grant is needed for the water tank, then the farmer is the Agriculture Supervisor at the Gram Panchayat level, the Assistant Agriculture Officer at the Panchayat Samiti level, the Assistant Director Agriculture (Extension) at the sub-district level, the Horticulture Officer, and the Deputy Director Agriculture (Extension) at the district level or the Deputy Director of Horticulture.
