Dr. N. Vigneshwaran of ICAR-CIRCOT Selected for International Award

Dr. N. Vigneshwaran, Principal Scientist from the ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai has been selected for the “International Cotton Researchers Association (ICRA) - ASIA Young Scientist Innovation Medal - 2019”. Dr. Vigneshwaran will be conferred with the Award in the framework of the 8th Meeting of the Asian Cotton and Development Network to be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from 9th to 12th September, 2019.

Dr. N. Vigneshwaran, Principal Scientist from the ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai has been selected for the “International Cotton Researchers Association (ICRA) - ASIA Young Scientist Innovation Medal - 2019”.

Dr. Vigneshwaran will be conferred with the Award in the framework of the 8th Meeting of the Asian Cotton and Development Network to be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from 9th to 12th September, 2019.

The Award setup by the ICRA, International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC), Washington DC, USA aims to recognize the young cotton researchers from the Asian countries.

Dr. Vigneshwaran’s Research Group at the ICAR-CIRCOT has been working in the field of application of nanotechnology in the cotton textiles, pulp & paper technology and composites towards the development of novel and value-added products under the dynamic leadership of Dr. P. G. Patil, Director ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai.

Dr. P.G. Patil felicitated Dr. N. Vigneshwaran on the occasion.
