"India has generously cooperated to strengthen this friendship." The two countries' trade partnership has also grown stronger, and India believes our ties should be deepened even further.”

The Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, as well as other Ministries, have made constructive decisions toward Bhutan.

“We are also working to expand Indian markets for Bhutanese agricultural products. Bhutan has been granted permission to export ginger and potatoes to India for another year,” according to Tomar.

He assured that both countries will continue to collaborate in the agriculture sector, and that, given the internal and external circumstances, we will respond positively to Bhutan's request as needed.
