Farmers protesting against the Centre's agricultural sector laws have called for Bharat Bandh today after several rounds of talks with the government over the new farm laws remained inconclusive.

Farmers challenging the Center's farm laws have called for “Bharat Bandh” or nation-wide strike today (8 December 2020)after several rounds of talks with the Govt. authority over the new agriculture bills stayed uncertain.

In the wake of 'Bharat Bandh' called by upsetting farmers today, the Azadpur mandi, one of Asia's greatest vegetable business markets, remained somewhat open with not many shops open. In any case, the masses are not like a typical day considering the cross country strike. The Azadpur Mandi Association had declared to help the farmers fomentation.
