Vaastu Shastra holds an important role in Hindu mythology. It is the science of harmony and prosperous living by enhancing positive energies around us. The science of Vastu adds value to one’s life by bringing peace and prosperity. The principles of Vaastu Shastra can be put to use in various fields including choosing agricultural land, for building a farm-house or while sowing the seeds.
It is believed that it will lead to an impressive result as far as agricultural production is concerned. Behind every Vastu tip is a scientific reason and mathematical calculations of the site’s direction-based attributes; hence it becomes more plausible to follow.
Given below are some of the Vastu tips that you must keep in mind while choosing an agricultural land:
The Slope of the Agricultural Land
If the principles of Vastu Shastra are to be followed then a piece of agricultural land should be smooth and not multileveled. And if at all there is some slant or slope in the field it should be in North or the East directions. The slope essentially shouldn’t be towards the South or West direction. This is a rule as per Vastu Shastra that shouldn’t be neglected under any circumstances for receiving optimal agricultural produce. In case a land block has a downward slope towards the West or South, then the expenditure of the land’s owner exceeds his income.
Agricultural Land with a Road on the South Should be Avoided
As per Vastu Shastra, it’s best that agricultural land accompanied by a road on the South should be avoided.
The Shape of the Agricultural Plot
A plot of agricultural land should be rectangular or square in shape. This piece of land shouldn’t have a cut in the South-West or South-East direction.
Planting Tall Trees Adjacent to the Agricultural Land
You can plant tall trees on the Southern or Western sides of the agricultural land as it is proven to be helpful for enhancing the agricultural yield.
Placement of the Boring and Underground Tank for Water Storage
The boring wells as well as the underground tanks for water storage should preferably be placed in the North-Eastern direction of the Eastern and Northern sides. Wells should never be located in the South-East, North-West or the South-West directions as this would lead to some huge losses as per Vastu for agricultural land.
Residences or Huts for the Agricultural Laborers
The residences or huts for the agricultural laborers should ideally be built in the West or South-West direction as per Vastu-Shastra.
A Thick and High Compound Wall to be Built in the Right Direction
A thick and high compound wall of 10-20 feet in length & 6 feet high should be built in the West and South sides of the field’s South-Western direction. A full-fledged wall in these directions would prove to be beneficial for the agricultural produce. These walls should never be there in the Northern or Eastern directions.
