Good news for farmers! Railways to start India’s second Kisan Rail between Delhi and Andhra Pradesh
For the timely transportation of fruits, vegetables, dairy products, etc., to people the Indian Railways is starting another Kisan Rail train service. Indian Railways has flagged off country’s second & South India’s first Kisan Rail train service, from Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh to Adarsh Nagar in Delhi. The inaugural run of the train began on 9th September. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar & Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy together flagged off the Kisan Rail train through video conferencing.

Sugar exports to rise 50 percent to a record over of 5.7 million tonnes
Sugar exports in India will rise 50 percent to a record of more than 5.7 million tonnes in the season ending this month, supported by the depreciated rupee, subsidy & lower production from rival suppliers. The government is expecting the robust performance to continue in the upcoming season too.

India Coronavirus Live Update: Nearly 90,000 Covid-19 Cases in India in 24 Hours, Over 43 Lakh Total Cases
India has recently witnessed 90,000 news cases in the last 24 hours which leads to 4,374,314 total active cases, says worldometer Reports. About 33 lakh patients have recovered from the infection in the country, pushing the recovery rate to 77.32 per cent. In the 24-hour period, India, which is now the second worst-hit country, reported 1,115 deaths linked to the virus, taking the total number of fatalities to 73,890.

BITSAT Counselling 2020: BITSAT Slot booking starts Today

NLAT Exam 2020 to be held on this date in three sessions
National Level Aptitude Test (NLAT Exam 2020) will take place on September 12, 2020, at various centers across the country. The exam would be held by the National Law School of Indian University. It has decided to conduct its own entrance test & not opt for CLAT exams. NLAT examination 2020 would be conducted in 3 sessions for undergraduate courses.
