  • Covid-19 Latest News: Russia Releases 1st batch of Coronavirus vaccine ‘Sputnik V’ into public

    The Russian Health Ministry said that the first batch of the Sputnik V vaccine against Coronavirus, developed by Gamaleya National Research Center of Epidemiology & Microbiology and the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) has been now released for civil circulation and regional deliveries are planned in the nearest future. The health ministry registered the 1st vaccine against Covid-19, ‘Sputnik’ V, on 11th August 2020.

  • Farmers in Rajasthan to Get 150 mobile apps all various farming information

    Soon farmers in Rajasthan will get all kinds of information and news online on their mobile phones. Rajasthan government will launch 150 apps for farmers of the state. 20 apps have already been prepared. All these apps will also be available on the 'Raj Kisan Sathi' portal. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had announced 'Ease of Doing Farming' during the budget speech this year to make all the farming activities easier for farmers.

  • Good News for SBI Customers! State Bank of India Debit/ATM Card Gets New Feature

    State Bank of India customers will now be able to block transactions on their ATM-cum-debit card through SMS. Country’s largest bank has launched this new feature for the safety of SBI customers. SBI's new facility for debit card users would help in controlling the ATM frauds that have been on the rise since past few years. State Bank has alerted its customers to be careful and not to ignore SMS alerts regarding balance enquiry, mini-statement if the request is not initiated by them.

  • Weather Forecast: Monsoon Remains Active Over Northeast India; Heavy Rains, Thunderstorms Forecast till Saturday

    Amid the corona crisis, this monsoon has brought several spells of heavy rains and flooding across the east and northeastern states of India. Over the last 24 hours till Tuesday morning, Jalpaiguri in West Bengal recorded a maximum of 144 mm rainfall. Several other places in the region, including Siliguri, Cherapunji, and Sri Niketan, witnessed heavy rainfall of more than 100 mm.

  • Clone Train Scheme: Indian Railways new plan to reduce waitlisted passengers

    Indian Railways has recently announced that it may run special 'clone train' in the routes which generally has high passenger traffic, in a bid to provide relief to the waitlisted passengers. Indian Railways plans to start these clone trains in a phased manner in the next 15 days and will issue a notification about the same.

  • JEE Main Result 2020 Likely by September 11 

    Joint Entrance Examination or JEE Main 2020 has been successfully held by the National Testing Agency. According to the official website, JEE Main Result is likely to be released by September 11, 2020. However, the official notice for the release of answer keys and results is still awaited and may change. 

  • Good News! Russia completes early trials of 2nd potential COVID-19 vaccine 

    Siberia's Vector virology institute has today (September 8, 2020) completed early-stage human trials, called as Phase II, of a second potential Russian vaccine against COVID-19. The state consumer safety watchdog was cited by the Interfax news agency as saying.
