Systemic Inventory of Phosphatic Fertilizers in India Running Slow
The systemic inventory of a phosphatic fertilizer in the Indian markets has been dipped sharply, which is a cause of concern for the upcoming Rabi Season. It was driven by a decline in the imports driven by elevated international prices & limited availability in the international markets, while the domestic demand remained stable. The ICRA expects the government of India to alleviate stress on the industry through the increase in subsidy rates under the NBS scheme over the course of 1 month to ensure adequate availability for the upcoming Rabi Season.
