  • MP Distributes Free Rice to 4.9 crore people under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana

    On 7th August (Saturday) the government of Madhya Pradesh organized an event to distribute free rice to 4.9 crore people under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana. During Anna Utsav Programme, the chief minister said that other than distribution of free rice under PMGKY scheme, the government will be providing 50kg of food per family to those, who are affected by floods. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has virtually interacted with the beneficiaries

  • IMD Predicts Heavy Rains in These Two States

    The India Meteorological Department said that fairly widespread rainfall is likely to occur over the West Madhya Pardesh & East Rajasthan during the next 2 days and the reduction in rainfall intensify & spread thereafter. IMD also predicted heavy rains over Himachal Pradesh, northern parts of Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal & Sikkim from 10th August.

    To improve the organic farming & to boost the income of farmers in the state, Workshop held on organic farming in Jammu to boost income of farmers Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology Jammu in collaboration with Directorate of Agriculture Production and Farmer’s Welfare, Jammu have organized a workshop at the Baba Jitto Auditorium.
